I read too fast.
I was gifted with the loan of a certain book - The Madness Season by C. S. Friedman - and sat down to read it sometime around 7:00 last night. I stopped at midnight, then started up again around 10:15 or so. It is now - regardless of when it says it's posted - 12:30. And I finished it a couple minutes ago.
Let's see... That would be about 7 hours total, to read a 495 page book. Just so we don't get all confused here, 7 hours is 420 minutes. Which means that I read at a speed of about one page per minute.
If that doesn't impress you, keep in mind that a book that thick usually takes people a couple days to read. Or more.
(Or, if you like, how's this: I read the first four Harry Potter books all at once - in under three days.)
Yes, I'm bragging. So there.
