lack of SoulCalibur
Jan. 28th, 2006 11:28 pmIt occurred to me that I have this icon - that's Lolithian, by the by, and
rabidfarfgirl's Oni is one of her available userpics too - and that I haven't yet used it. Which is because I haven't played SC3 since coming away. I have a memory card to go with it, but no PS2... anyone feel like indulging me?
Of course, I can't actually use Lolithian (yes, she's supposed to be drowish, and she wears full armor and is a sage and therefore fights with Chinese swords) since she's on the Farf's memory card, and not mine. I have two other charas on mine, one for me and one for my father. And two extra slots (haven't unlocked more yet, and I suck at strategy so I only have the starter occupations as well... *sigh*).
... Also, I am semi-randomly (prompted by
ciceqi's Mascotverse) tempted to get a hold of this one particular cap of Sephiroth from Last Order and add text at the bottom that says "Pie".

decisions!
Sep. 25th, 2005 12:10 pmSo. Having caught up on Narbonic, of course I make an icon. The thing is, it doesn't feel complete. It currently looks like this:

The question is, what should I do with it? Add text? (What text?) Color it? Give me something to do, or it'll just be stuck with all my other random icons that I have no use for.
In other news, my new computer has shipped.
Edit:
Went through again and pulled nice pictures of human!Artie, and colored some, but only this one worked for iconing. Soo... Text?

image confusion
Aug. 6th, 2005 09:26 pmSo WTF is pretty much the first page of pictures when image!googling "Farf" all butterflies, flowers, and old people? And sheet music! What is with this? Gaaaah, second page too.
So apparently although most people prefer to call him Farf, you'd better search under Farfarello. Dammit.
That aside, an icon for said Farf. Uh, that is, for
rabidfarfgirl. It'll stay where it is if you don't want to put it up immediately, and don't worry about taking it off - I can handle it.
And thanks for the one you made me, but I prefer my Schuldich to keep his green hair.

Um, yeah. So I wanted to have new icons, and I like my art, so, I thought, why not put them together? And I did. This and the previous post's icons are by ME. And I stole a Dark King from
murasaki_kaze and tweaked him, but you'll forgive me, right?
I'm feeling great because
rabidfarfgirl and I just finished the outline to one volume of a story we've been working on for about as long as we've known each other. It's older than my love of anime! And, for the most part, I now know exactly what happens. So yahoi! Or something like that.
Stories are SO much better than schoolwork.

irony, as it were
Mar. 9th, 2005 11:46 amRight. This is basically because I wanted to post and I wanted to show off my most recent icon, and killing two birds with one stone is always a neat idea.
Yay, yay.
Y'know, it really didn't even occur to me until sometime last year that not everyone knows what, or who, Cthulhu is. I myself knew it/him long before I knew anything about the guy, due to growing up in the realm known as Saiensfikshon (science fiction), and I guess, in my childish way, I assumed everyone else would know too. I mean, come on! Cthulhu!
Anyway. Cthulhu is the Lovecraftian equivalent of the being that will bring about the end of the world. It's a giant creature, older than old, more powerful even than any of the Elder Gods, and thankfully sealed away looooooong ago. And if Cthulhu doesn't ring a bell, and Lovecraft doesn't either, how about Necronomicon? I'm not sure, but I think that's the way to summon him. It. Anyway. It's almost always by accident, too, but that's what you get for messing around with evil books.
Cthulhu is a giant creature, as I said, that's a sort of amalgamation of human, dragon, and octopus. It/he is so hideous, his mere presence causes madness. Not pleasant.
Anyway, this icon is brought to you by the Commission for the Bright Side of Everything. And me.

rawk rawk (sounds like a bird)
Mar. 7th, 2005 05:23 pmRight. Back again - it seems to have been all the battery's fault. Stupid thing - made me worry for days on end. But it's over now, and I get the next one free under my protection program. Yay.
Also, the external drive as a backup is very definite, so
elwood012, when I get it, you can help me set it all up, yes?
And finally, sadly,
murasaki_kaze took my idea before she knew it was mine (it wasn't all that good anyway) so I'm going to work on yet another set of icons, which should cheer me up even more.
I wish I could find that paper that got marked notturnedin, but what the hey. I'll write and do my best and all that.
And things aren't getting superheated anymore, so I'm happy.
