Easterish stuff, Easterish stuff... It's done. I crept out in the Sunday equivalent of the wee hours of the morning (aka around 9:00) and... Well, mhikaru at least will know what I did. Or what was done. I didn't exactly leave my name on it.

Because I am feeling bored and slightly masochistic, I'm willing to do commissions for lj userpics, provided that (a) I know the source (as in, I have pictures already - this is a mostly anime type thing) or (b) you give me the pictures and tell me what you want.

Every now and then I check my own journal to see if anyone has commented (which has not been the case for a while), and then I check friends'. So. linadarkstar put up a thingie on what kind of religion/spirituality/something she is. Wound up all over the place, but that's not my point. I decided, hey, I'll see what it says about me, and in looking for it discovered another 'quiz': "What's Your Spiritual Type?" Went ahead, took it, found it to be extremely monotheistic-based.

Example:
Q14. Each day’s newspaper brings reports of crimes, natural disasters, and disease. My most basic reaction is:
1. My faith is tested because I cannot understand how a just God could tolerate the agony of the world
2. I feel sadness, but accept that both the good and the bad of life are somehow part of God’s plan

With the influences I'm currently along the lines of 'the people suffering are paying for wrong actions in previous lives' - very Buddhist, yes, but it does do away with the whole "why me?" syndome nicely, doesn't it?
