upon finishing an essay
Apr. 9th, 2004 12:49 amI write too much. Again, I was asked for two pages double-spaced (this is common in Yamashita's class), and again I write five pages. Well, four and a half, but it's close enough. The last time I did this, he made a comment about it being the thickest paper in existence. I said 'not exactly', he smirked, I think he's going to find out that five is common for me like I told him.
Four and three quarters. I correct myself. Even more impressive, I did not fill it out with quotes. This is all me just randomly talking without any textual support.
I did warn him, though, and I did apologize, so...
Eh, what am I talking about? I want another A, darn it, but I know I don't have a chance unless I don't actually try for it - unless I just give up and write randomly what comes into my head. And then order it a bit, look pretty, yadda yadda.
You know, he complemented me on my last paper for its organization? I don't remember organizing it. I think I just wrote.
Guess it's just all those in-class essays I got used to in high school, huh?
...
I am crazy. Crazy, crazy, crazy to be doing stuff like this. Crazy, too, for considering taking another of his classes next semester. A seminar at that. Once a week, for two and a half hours at a time. Gah.
