Linguistics kills me.

It's not that it's particularly hard. It isn't (although I wouldn't have minded at least confirmation that the section in Japanese - designed for people who don't know it - is right) hard. It's just... busywork. Lots and lots and lots of busywork. I can understand why they invented this little triangle thing that says, "and then there's some more work here, but I'm too lazy to write it all out." Linguistics is soooo repetitive.

Even memorizing French verbs was less fall-asleepish than this.

Agh. I think my equipment is taking on a life of its own. Either that, or someone's really messing with my memory.

If I hadn't checked the clock (expecting it to say 8:05 or something like) I would probably have been late for if not missed my class. I did that on Tuesday due to weirdness. I shouldn't do it again.

And my music, which usually runs all night, isn't on.

If it turns out that I do in fact have animate (or at least sentient) things trying to run my life for me, I'm going to get them exorcized.

Except when they only give you five pieces per person. Then it's just disappointing, 'cause it's not enough!

On tenser matters, Oldenborg room draw is today, at 4:15 for the people of my year. I'm kind of curious to know what room I'll wind up with - as the last girl of the section to choose, I get what nobody else wants. Which room is that, I wonder?

A bit later than it might have been, if I were really dancing up and down the halls... Instead, I was occupied with the other aspects of next year, and with my parents. In a moment, I will be preoccupied with paper-writing for Yamashita, but I want to take a break first. So.

I have a room in Oldenborg - at least, I assume I do. I'm promised to be nice and involved and all that, and since I'm going to keep that promise, I don't think there'll be any reason for them to kick me out. Which is nice. It's very nice having the next year's dorm settled.
