sureiHaving been worn down by semi-persistent assertions, I'll accept that I do sqee. I still prefer the term 'squeal,' partially because my first experience with the word "squee" involved an octopus. It was a 404, I'm sure somebody out there knows the instance I'm talking about. Yes, it was a cute octopus, but an octopus nonetheless.
I might eventually admit to squeeing over FMA, that would be Barry the Chopper doing his impression of "Bunny". I don't know if it's in the anime, but in the manga it's incredibly cute, especially considering who and what Barry is, and what he does almost immediately afterwards (hint hint: to Farman).
It would seem that squeeage requires humor, cuteness, and violence. Like, say, when a cat trying to climb a set of drawers loses its grip and falls, or when you stomp on someone's foot and they hop away clutching it. Squee.

In other news, I should be writing a paper, but I haven't been able to get myself to bother, though I've been trying all day. I don't think I will until the oh-shit-oh-shit-oh-shit deadline alarm goes off. Instead I've been amusing myself with J-fanart and leasurely attempts to study Japanese. And old Christmas music. And headaches. Damn.
