sureiI have just heard from mine father... Apparently there are White House "Experts" - lawyers, of course - who are now stating that the President is above the law, especially in regards to torture.
(This has put me in a rage, you may guess. Not only for what it does to us internally, but also for the image of the US that it presents to the world at large. Always invading other countries, torturing prisoners, and accountable to nobody. With comparisons to Hitler. Grar.)
Louis XVI of France also said that he was above the law.
