Yoinked from
keitess, although I'm not entirely certain that I understood right.
IF MY LIFE WAS A MOVIE SOUNDTRACK
Opening Credits: Evanescence, My Immortal
~ Whee, I get a superdepressing opening song.
Waking Up: Gackt, Birdcage
~ 「許されないものなら すべてが消えればいい」"If I can't be forgiven, then everything can disappear." Yet more depressing stuff.
Falling in Love: Aerosmith, I Don't Want to Miss a Thing
~ I actually don't like this song. But it's appropriate.
Fight Scene: Marylin Manson, Seizure of Power
~ Hell yeah!
Breaking Up: The Verve, Man Called Sun
~ "you know you need him more when he's gone." That is the only unhappy line. For the most part, this implies that my break-up scenes have more to do with getting high than angst.
Make-up: Noriko Hidaka (as Akane), 「Heart にぶんのないしょ」(Ranma 1/2)
~ Secrets of the Heart Split in Two: Essentially, "you're an idiot, but I like you anyway." Makes sense to me.
Secret Love: Gackt, NINE SPIRAL
~ 「優しく切り裂いて」"Gently rip me up." I like the song, but it's violently depressing. I'm becoming convinced that this is my life without medication.
Life's Okay: The Rasmus, F-F-F-Falling
~ This is among my favorite songs. I have a lot, so that doesn't say much. "This life is so full of temptation, and I want to keep it that way..."
Mental Breakdown: seven, Come Back to Me
~ Waa, I don't know Korean~~~
Driving: F.I.R., Lydia
~ I don't know Chinese either~~~
Flashbacks: Bassic, Monkey Toes
~ This has baby-talk like sounds in it. It's also instrumental. Electronic. Eh. I guess it works.
Happy Dance: Nightwish, Higher Than Hope
~ No. Just no.
Regretting: Lacuna Coil, Falling
~ "I just want to be myself."
Long Night Alone: Amanda Ghost, Idol
~ "and all these stupid conversations that always seem to to lead to nowhere, they're going round and round and round in my head, and they'll be back again."
Final Battle: E Nomine, Die Sintflut
~ German is another language I don't know. But it's E Nomine, which means it will work, and be dramatic too.
Death Scene: Foo Fighters, The Deepest Blues Are Black
~ It's not exactly a death song, but...
Ending Credits: GiGi D'Agostino, The Riddle
~ And I leave you confused. "Near a tree by a river there's a hole in the ground where an old man of Aran goes around and around and his mind is a beacon in the veil of the night for a strange kind of fashion there's a wrong and a right." Yes. That is the chorus.
My conclusion: this movie is about a girl who is angsty and confusing. She gets high on causing others emotional pain, and she doesn't apologize. This is not an accurate depiction of me, but I'm not surprised.
