The Adventures of Rike
Jul. 20th, 2006 05:06 pmIt is really hard to photograph miniatures. I thought for sure I could just take pictures of Rike, but I wound up wandering around the house with him, coming up with different positions to make up for the lack of variety in poses. At this point, he has been outside, on top of a pile of cabbage, and spun circles around on my desk. He then climbed on top of my external before leaping across my computer to land on top of the construction I made from foam core.

After that he decided to challenge a demon. I think that might have been one of his sub-personalities there, instead of him. The LG one that he developed in order to deal with -deleted-.
All on my desk, of course. Except, not the cabbage mountain, and not the outside in the beginning.

As a monk, he's not supposed to have the sword and shield, as I believe I mentioned before. Having painted him once, I wouldn't mind painting him again, provided I could do it here, at home, where I have the primer, the paints, and the brushes ready to hand, in a wide variety. (Painting minis is something I started when I was nine.) So if anyone can find - don't tell me to look here or there, but find it yourself - an unarmed, unarmored, uncloaked male elf, let me know, and I'll look into it.
