Rike!

Last night I painted Rike, and pictures will soon be forthcoming.

Er... he's not supposed to have a sword and shield, of course, but it was hard enough finding a male elf with neither armor not cloak. In fact, I don't think Reaper minis has a male elf, unarmored, uncloaked, and unarmed. They might have a female, without much in the way of clothing either, but while Rike is not exactly the manliest man around, he is not female.

I've just finished reading a book known as Sorcery and Cecilia or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot, which is co-written because what it really is is a story that was put together by a pair of authors playing what is known as the Letter Game over the course of about six months, and then adding a bit of editing to make things more clear.

And of course, for an explanation as to what the Letter Game is, I turn to - well, follow the link. You'll see. It's pretty obvious once you're there, and pretty typical of me.

Admittedly, in the minutes spent just now between writing the first and second paragraphs, my fervor has been a little damped, but I still think it might be fun to at least try. Problem is, I need someone else to play with.
