need a 'strawberry' icon
Sep. 19th, 2005 11:18 amI got strawberry lemonade today, on behalf of my suitemate who's been gone all weekend to have fun at Disneyland. I have to agree with most of her tastes, yes.
Aside from that, I have a program that lets me write music now. I can't actually write anything yet, because I suck and need a piano or a harp to actually compose, but I can copy scores, which is what I really want it for anyway. Song practice!
Speaking of which, songs I have to practice for next week:
+ "A Pastoral" by Henry Carey, from this book called Reliquary of English Song
+ "Flow Gently Sweet Afton" by Robert Burns - couldn't just ignore him, could we? Besides, it's nice and low
+ "Before I Gaze At You Again" from Camelot
+ "No One Is Alone" from Into the Woods - apparently this is my best piece so far, which is good because it's one of my favorites.
