If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, fanfiction or NaNoWriMo or what have you, post exactly one sentence from each of your current work(s) in progress in your journal. It should probably be your favourite or most intriguing sentence so far, but what you choose is entirely your discretion. Mention the title (and genre) if you like, but don't mention anything else -- this is merely to whet the general appetite for your forthcoming work(s).
I won't be giving titles or genres. You get to be confused.
--- The girl was giggling madly over something and tossing comments that he couldn't hear because of Lina's screaming.
--- "What an ugly baby you are," he told it. "You deserve an ugly name."
--- She stiffened, looked towards the voice, saw Sesshoumaru, and lost her balance and her grip just enough to tumble to the ground, nearly landing on him in the process.
--- "I am sorry for it, but I will not submit to someone who cannot best me, and he will not admit to the need to do so."
--- There were only two problems; one, she’d hate him for it; two, if she refused to give in, he’d have to fulfill his threat and then it would all fail because she’d hate him and he still wouldn’t have gotten into her panties.

--- Xelloss opened his eyes and stared at her in horror.
--- And there was light.
--- Then he had to hold himself still and not look worried as she prowled around him suspiciously.
--- He gave her a look that said that he wasn’t capable of getting anything in the first place, and that if he was, she should know what he wanted in the second.
--- "Ah well. I suppose the Universe was feeling bored.”
--- “Hey,” she said. “My breasts are not art. Eyes up.”
--- Ryushi snorted. “Weirdness is your personality. Scaring people is your hobby.”
--- Then again, he thought as she came in low, caught her opponent’s sword, and smashed her leg into his groin, Maybe not.
--- Ken winced as a stop sign flew by them, wailing something about a darling Ukyou.
--- “I tend to prefer eerie sentiences, like an inanimate object that acts on its own, while Siany goes more for the animal type. I think it has something to do with almost winning a race against a giant white dog, or something…”
--- “You mean you keep trying to kill him and he won’t let you.”
--- " I see that, unless he changes dramatically for the good very soon, he will not be human in his next life."
--- “Thou wilt not find me,” she said simply. “I have stopped generating karma.”
--- Even worse, she could tell that there would be a fight today, but it was already half past noon, and still no sign of life.
--- "In order to create a spirit such as myself, three things are necessary: the bite of a vampire, a sexually untainted soul, or aura if you like, and the death of the mortal body."
--- “The one thing Alchemy has never been able to do is create life. So, naturally, to created the stone that breaks rules requires… life.”
Man, I'd forgotten how many stories I abandoned.
