sureiY'know, you get rid of one 'friend' - in my case, a community - that has lots and lots and lots of posts every day, and suddenly you don't have to go through a couple pages just to find out what's happening to everybody else.
I'm finally NOT distracted - yay! - and Aiurtroshia probably isn't going to go anywhere until Monday, when everybody who's coming home from college finally gets there. Looking forward to it. I don't want to bleed all over the place and be in shock while being carried by a possible romantic interest for too long, after all. And sure, I'm here, but neither are the possible romantic interest or the alchemist with the magical cure-all-potions.
And now that it's been confirmed by the GM, I'm going to do a bit of ranting. If you want 'shinikame' to mean "God of Death", you've got some really funky romaji-spelling going on. 'Shinigami', yes, 'shi no kami', yes, but I'm sorry: 'shinikame' just comes across as "Death's Turtle" to me, and suddenly I'm in the realms of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaimon. And NO, it has nothing to do with 'Death of Gods'! Even such an elementary speaker of Japanese as I know that. Grar.
Besides which, the leader/senator of the clan is an Amakiir Elf (desert elf) and seems to be falling in love with a Drow/G'Tan halfbreed. Drow being the 'dark elves' who live underground and really don't like the sun and have black skin and such, and G'Tan being the nastiest type of Orc available. The girl (the halfbreed) is currently bleeding to death and in shock from a hole in her back, lots of gashes across the stomach, jarred shoulders, and blindness. And she's been fighting while injured (to save the man she's developing a crush on / falling in love with) so all her wounds have been stressed, torn, and dirtied. Yes, that's my character. Why do you ask?
I was actually going to have her go for the gargoyle, but a super-powerful nasty-bad NPC in the form of a black-market transmuter and Otheri got invovled, and things changed.
Um, sorry. It seems I am still distracted after all. Anyway.
Friday was pretty hectic, what with getting up, talking to parents through computer (or trying), running around online, and then rushing off at 4 to go cook / prepare food for Miyake-sensei's dinner. I have no idea when we returned, and Lina, I'm sorry I didn't make it to the anime showing, but I was dead tired, and wouldn't have understood anything anyway. I stopped hearing clearly shortly after I finished eating.
In other news: Angelfire seems to be having problems with hosting pictures for us. I am now including a link within all of the pictures I put up, so people can go straight to it if it doesn't show. I will not be going back and editing to do so, however. Have fun.
When I go home in a week, I will finally get to scan all those pictures I've been talking about.
