I know the heating's on in the house when my clothes come out of the dresser (which stands over an air vent) warm. Also - we keep our butter out, and use it so quickly there really is no danger - the butter is firm not because it's recently removed from the fridge, but because the air is that cool.
Wow. I really am oblivious to temperatures.
I mean, yeah, I've started to pull out my cold weather clothes, but that's just because it's November, in North Carolina. Temporal awareness, yes. Temperature awareness, no.
(I blame England. Three years spent between 40° & 75° F, with some rare exceptions: snow blowing across the gound in winter one day, but not settling, and a week in summer at an uncomfortable 85° F. (And why am I talking Fahrenheit, anyway? Warm was 20° to 25° C. Hot was 30° C. Do the calculations yourself.))
