been a while

OUT goes the old computer! It was mine, but before then it was the family's, and the only reason we kept it so long was for the Orb drive. Wow, that's something that never took off, hey? Also zip disks.

So it's now in the library with the other old computer, just until we can get everything we need from it, and then wipe, TOSS! Next thing is the extra desk it's on.

We finally have the connection established in my room, via the use of a second AirPort station. So that means I can start looking into completing my setup in there, with the external, and my USB and firewire hubs, and all the stuff necessary for the kind of computer luxury I love to boast about.

Although, to tell the truth, I'm enjoying working out in the living room as well, and I don't have to have the 'sight plugged in via hub... I think I'll D&D out here, where I can hopefully keep my parents from being bothered by the sounds. Especially if I decide to work with the headset.

Actually, I need to check that. Will update in a bit if that works, or if it doesn't. Just so I have the record somewhere.

It happens to be a really very good, if somewhat longwinded and linky, definition of what constitutes the *dun dun DUN* Mary Sue.
