nightmare again

Dammit! Why are my nightmares always about getting shut out or left behind? And then when I get upset (in the dreams) the people never understand.

There were these strange sort of figurines that I was working on for a con (this is sort of a transition from another dream) and then I couldn't find them. So I tried to find my father only to discover that he was going off to the con by himself. I hadn't even known that the first day had been dream-yesterday. And it hadn't even occurred to him that I might want to go, or that I wouldn't have anything to do at home, once the figurines were gone. He was impatient and thought that I should have been happy just that he was selling the stupid figures. When I realized that I couldn't make him understand, I woke myself up.

By con, of course, I mean convention. They've been incredibly important to me since before I can remember.
