Nov. 7th, 2005 09:27 pmI was finally hungry after dance class today, so I thought, yay! This illness is nearly gone. Of course, it's a little before 9, so I go to the coop and get myself a quesadilla and a smoothie. Nice, basic foods, right? Starch and dairy product and fruit. I get through the first piece and partway into the second and my right hand starts to feel numb at the tips. It's happened before, I thought it was the brace, so I loosened it to avoid pressure. Which is when I notice that on both hands, all my fingernails are bluish at the base. And the final digits on all of them are numb, like they're asleep, or they've been burned, or something.
Which is when the shuddering gets back in and I'm confronted with internal chill again.
Now, I only went to two classes today, and I slept the rest of the time, but I think I overdid it. I'm pretty certain I'm not going to be going to class tomorrow. Maybe not Wednesday either.
My fingertips are still numb, by the way, feeling texture and pressure and a little of heat, and the pressure's like the skin is too tight. My fingernails are still blue at the base, though not so obviously as before.
I'm going to go straight to sleep and hope to get better soon.
