curtailed activities
Nov. 3rd, 2005 06:30 pmSoo....... yeah. That little bump on my wrist I've mentioned maybe once or twice? The one in line with my thumb that feels like a bone growth and huts like an old bruise? It's a cyst. A ganglion cyst, to be precise. Fortunately,
aerin_pegadrak has a wrist brace for her occasional nerve pinch, and she's letting me borrow it.
Basically, this is something that comes from using my wrist too much. Including typing, but the brace is holding my wrist still so I'm doing it anyway. My speed and accuracy are mostly my fingers, woot. Probably due to piano lessons.
In any case, I can't write, can't draw, can't play harp in this. Other stuff too, but that's what's important to my classes.
I'm considering getting down to the Village tomorrow and buying medical tape and wrapping my wrist, to make a point when I have to take the brace off. It's not like professors are going to actually let me stop writing.
