I remain stubbornly mysterious about my birthday because (I said) I don't want to get thrown in the fountain. That's really a load of bollocks: I love surprises is the real thing, although anyone who'd really wanted to know and could read Japanese could have gone to the lounge and seen it there, up on the wall like it's been all year.

In any case, this is my birth day, hour, and minute - officially. According to mine father, it was really 7:14, but I'm not going to quibble. I'm not expecting to get anything other than amusement as I watch people try to catch the bouncy balls I intend to throw at them. A brat? Moi? But of course; it's my birthday, so if I want to act half my age, then I'm allowed.

Although I don't think I threw little bouncy balls at people when I was nine, either. Hmmm, yes, that's right: around about that time (September 29th, 1995) I was preparing for and not exactly looking forward to moving to England.

But, assuming I remember the bag, I'm still going to throw little bouncy balls at people.
