[livejournal.com profile] linadarkstar said they wanted to play WoW but [livejournal.com profile] nekokoban wanted to do something else :-(.

Oh yeah. I don't know why [livejournal.com profile] murasaki_kaze went all psycho over me and [livejournal.com profile] earths_angel having a little fun.

[livejournal.com profile] fetteredwishes told me that [livejournal.com profile] dogmatix_san told people that they saw me talking to [livejournal.com profile] pimpstergust and backstabbing [livejournal.com profile] mhikaru. And yeah. You might guess I don't give a flying f*** what they think anymore. I'm over that.

Oh and I am so going to kick [livejournal.com profile] srevan out of the house. They wore my favorite furry shirt when [livejournal.com profile] mel_redcap and [livejournal.com profile] fetteredwishes was visiting. I've never been so embarassed in my life!

There's something to be said for airdrying after a shower. Yeah, it's cold, and yeah, you wish that damn towel (which is all you're allowed to touch) wasn't quite so damp, but there's a kind of freeness, an almost kind of return to innocence (if you believe in the shame of a very natural state), that disappears, and that you give up, the instant you put on clothes again. The softest skin is the kind we protect, which means we rarely ever get to touch it - whether on ourselves or others. And I firmly believe that, every now and then, every one should stop a moment and let themselves find themselves beautiful. It's what lets others find them beautiful, after all.

In other news, I'm still thinking about icons for [livejournal.com profile] murasaki_kaze, but my ideas are remaining stubbornly un-icon-y. This is about as close as I've been able to get.

Oh yeah. And the parents show up sometime this afternoon, around 3ish

I love my parents, but not my computer. It's the usual problem. At least mine father is here: he'll help me figure things out and try and restart stuff and deal with tech people and buy me a nice backup external drive, which might turn into the startup drive with the internal as the backup. We'll see.

In any case, my parents are here. Yay! We had a really lovely dinner (that I made) and laughed at a friend's attempted depiction of the relations between everyone in Pride and Prejudice, and everything was perfect until my computer decided to crash and then start making motor-trouble noises again. I'd think it doesn't like me, but I take good care of it.

I just keep thinking, if only... I had shut the stupid thing when I went off, instead of leaving it to sit there like I usually do. Why should I shut it? I never do. It's always been fine with that. But nooo, this time it has to crash and get whiney. Ah well.

Things are still pretty much perfect, even if I once again don't have access to my files and have to go downstairs to the closest computer lab to do anything. I still have books, and wonderful, wonderful people to be with, and-and-and.

Still. RAR, computer. Behave.
