On the question of creation, I'm first going to have to ask you which me you want to ask. My scientific side will give you the whole -- well, you know, my authorial side will come up with something vague and completely unexplanatory, and my religious/mystic side... will ask why you're asking. We're here. Does it matter how we started? Or even if we did?

As far as religion goes... Well, how should I explain this? My parents were both raised Christian but never bothered to keep up with it, and my father especially has turned strongly aetheist, which makes it sometimes a little difficult to deal with him since I believe in things and he doesn't. For a long time I'd say I was an animist, and I guess I sort of still am, but... Actually, I'm Buddhist. Rogue Buddhist, in fact, since I don't belong to any group and probably never will. I wasn't converted by any one or group of ones... Ah, it's hard to say. I took a class on Buddhist sutras, and in reading them, especially the Prajna Paramita, found that they made hella sense to me and decided to run with it. But, you know? Everyone's got their own truth, and since I haven't found mine yet, what right have I to try and tell them what it should be?
For the most part, I don't talk religion with people because they get too easily upset and they try and make me think what they think. Which, since I've promised that I won't do the same, is really annoying.
