in the middle of giggling over stories

So. I haven't mentioned it, but there was a while in there when it seemed like I'd have to force restart my computer every day - restart because things got into serious drag-time and I spent more time waiting for the colorwheel to go away than actually doing things, force because of the time lag too, but also because I'd try and restart and it would fail because programs refused to quit. Yeah.

Anyway, I finally got fed up with it and turned it off for about half a day (instead of the hour or so periods I'd tried before), and for whatever reason that seems to have done the job, because it's been nearly a week now with no problems.

Still don't know what was going on, though.

I did get back into One Piece a while ago. And this week's chapter deserves major squee.

In fact, it deserves so much squee, that all I can do is to go EEEEEEEEEEEE and show pictures of why.
